MISSION VIEJO, CA — Residents interested in learning more about Mission Viejo's rich history are encouraged to attend a free open house event at the city's Heritage House at Melinda Park March 19.

Mission Viejo residents can attend the open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to learn more about the people and events that contributed to Mission Viejo's history.

The city's Heritage House, which served as a former Mission Viejo Company new-home sales center, was founded in 2003 to educate the community about the city's past.

The Heritage House is located on the corner of Melina Road and Santa Margarita Parkway, 28951 Melinda Road. Residents interested in learning more are asked to call 949-470-8488.
