Liquor Stores Robbed At Gunpoint In Mission Viejo
Stores on both Marguerite and Alicia Parkways were hit overnight by suspects considered armed and dangerous.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Two hoodie-wearing men were seen robbing Mission Viejo liquor stores overnight, authorities said.
Orange County Sheriff's Department says they believed the same people were responsible for both crimes.
The first robbery was reported at Andrea's Liquor at about 10:45 p.m. Monday in the 27000 block of Marguerite Parkway and the second, nearly a half hour later at Gateway Liquor Wine and Deli, on the 24000 block of Alicia Parkway, according to Lt. Todd Russ of the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

"In both instances, two men wearing hoodies and masks went into the store, showed a gun, took an unknown amount of cash, then ran out of the store, got into a vehicle and left the scene," Russ said.
A detailed description of the suspects or the vehicle they used was not immediately available.
