What's in a hero? This Mission Viejo resident has made over a thousand masks for anyone who needs them, free of charge.
MISSION VIEJO, CA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

What does the nominee do for work?:
She offered to provide masks, free of charge, to anyone who needs them. Last count she was well over 1,000 masks
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
So many in our community needed masks. She did this out of an urge to help, no benefit to herself financially
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Her actions lifted the spirits of those who learned of her kind offer, in addition to protecting the health of the community.
