Mission Viejo Man, 22, Shot Dead In South OC Home; Roommate Arrested

The shooting happened at around 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, March 21 in the 27000 block of Ruisenor in Mission Viejo.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A man was arrested and booked into Orange County Jail on suspicion of homicide after his roommate was found dead in the house that they shared Tuesday evening, the Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.

Deputies were dispatched to the shooting in the 27000 block of Ruisenor in the City of Mission Viejo at 4:44 p.m. on March 21. Once arriving, deputies detained the suspect — later identified as Michael Guy Levy — and found a 22-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot injury.

The man, later identified as Noah Christian Aguilar from Mission Viejo, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Orange County Fire Authority.

The suspect, 22-year-old Michael Guy Levy, was arrested and booked into the OC Jail. He and Aguilar were roommates, authorities said.

A firearm was collected at the scene as evidence, deputies said.
