Man Pleads Not Guilty To Raping South OC Woman

LAGUNA HILLS, CA — A 38-year-old man pleaded not guilty Tuesday to raping a woman in Laguna Hills.

Devon Randall Haugan was charged in November with two counts of rape and single counts each of sexual penetration by a foreign object and forcible oral copulation, all felonies.

Haugan was arrested Dec. 19 and after entering his plea in the jail courtroom in Santa Ana he was scheduled to return to court Jan. 23 for a pretrial hearing at the Harbor Justice Center in Newport Beach.

Haugan was accused of attacking the woman May 27, 2023, in a house in the 25000 block of Saddle Rock Place in Laguna Hills, according to sheriff's deputies.
