Must See: Bumbling Bank Robber's 'Disguise' Is World's Most Conspicuous Fake Beard
A suspected bank robber was arrested after allegedly trying and failing to rob a Wells Fargo branch bank.
A man sporting a fake beard was apprehended shortly after he allegedly made a failed attempt to rob a Wells Fargo bank branch in Mission Viejo today, authorities said.
The attempted robbery occurred just after 10 a.m. at 26151 La Paz Road, according to Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Hallock.
Raymond Edward Feiner, 58, of San Clemente, was booked on suspicion of attempted robbery and was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

The suspect entered the bank wearing a blue skull cap, sunglasses and a fake gray beard, according to a surveillance image released by sheriff.
Feiner also was suspected of attempting to rob a Chase Bank branch on Crown Valley Parkway in Mission Viejo about 40 minutes before the Wells Fargo holdup, Hallock said.

Feiner was arrested right after the Wells Fargo stickup as a witness trailed him out of the bank and pointed him out to sheriff’s deputies who were arriving on the scene of the robbery, Hallock said. Feiner was arrested without incident as he tried to drive away from the robbery in a pickup truck, Hallock said.
