Man Missing In Mission Viejo Found Monday Afternoon

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A 22-year-old man identified as Tex reported missing in Mission Viejo Monday morning has since been found and reunited with his family thanks to the help of an Orange County resident, Orange County Sheriff's Department reported Monday afternoon.

According to authorities, they used blood hounds, air support and ground units to try to locate Tex. In the end, Tex was found thanks to the help of an alert citizen who saw Tex and called OCSD. The department posted a picture of the woman, Denise, on its Facebook page. OCSD wrote that Denise spotted Tex at a shopping center in Laguna Niguel.

Tex was reported missing at 8 a.m. after he wandered from his group home near Los Alisos boulevard and Trabuco road.
