Mission Hospital Holiday Gala Nets $1.3 Million
Presented by Nolet Spirits USA-The Nolet Family, the event celebrated the treasured donors who enhance our community through philanthropy.
The Mission Hospital 20th Anniversary Holiday Gala was an enormous success thanks to the engagement of hundreds of inspired community members. The $1.3 million raised by the event marks the completion of Mission Hospital’s $200 million comprehensive campaign.

The Holiday Gala celebrates the Spirit of Giving of all those who support Mission Hospital. This year’s theme, “You are the Key,” highlighted the treasured people who have enhanced the lives of our patients, their families and the community through philanthropy over the last 20 years.

One of the grand moments of the evening was a Fund A Need challenge which raised nearly $650,000 to support adolescent and young adult mental health and wellness. These precious funds set the stage for a future hospital initiative to significantly expand programs and services for vulnerable adolescents.
This year’s live auction featured excursions to Holland for Nolet Distillery’s 325th anniversary and to Sweden in honor of Volvo’s 60th anniversary in the United States. Other auction items included an Angels Spring Training weekend, trip to Punta Mita, Sonoma wine getaway, Habit Burger Grill party for 150 people and a private dining experience at the St. Regis Monarch Beach.

Mission Hospital thanks all the Holiday Gala Committee members, especially Bill Eldien, Barbara Massrey, Toni Andrews, Gloria Luna and Margarita Solazzo for using their incredible passion for Mission Hospital to make this year’s event one of the most beautiful, inspiring and enjoyable events in our history.
Guests describe this event as the perfect blend of fun and transformational fundraising. The evening includes exceptional food, dancing and entertainment, and most importantly, meaningful ways to become engaged and support Mission Hospital.
