Mission Hospital Reflects On 2 Years Of COVID, Releases Doves

On Wednesday, Providence Mission Hospital caregivers and staff shared messages of hope in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Roughly one hundred healthcare workers, leaders and hospital staff gathered in front of Providence Mission Hospital Wednesday for a moment of reflection and to share hope for a brighter future in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The gathering was held on the anniversary of the first COVID-19 related hospitalization at Providence Mission Hospital two years ago.

Mission Providence Hospital Chief Executive Seth Teigen spoke at the event, and reflected on the past two years of the pandemic to the group.

Ten white doves symbolizing hope for better days were released at the event as caregivers held up poster boards with single words of remembrance and reflection.
