Mission Viejo Animal Shelter Offers Pets for Presents

MISSION VIEJO, CA — ‘Tis the season for joy and merriment – and adding a new furry friend to your family for only $20.

In an effort to find every animal a great home, the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center and Dedicated Animal Welfare Group are sponsoring a special “Home for the Holidays” event. From now through December 19, you can adopt any dog, cat, kitten or rabbit for only $20.

"To boot, these animals will go home with approved adopters spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped," media information officer Kelly Tokarski said. "Now is the time to add that special someone to your family before the holiday festivities begin."
