The City of Mission Viejo has activated its Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in response to the fire burning in Silverado/Williams Canyon known as the “Bond Fire.”

Parts of Lake Forest (Foothill Ranch and Portola Hills) are currently under mandatory evacuation. While Mission Viejo is not under evacuation warning at the present time, City staff, Orange County Fire Authority and Mission Viejo Police Services are monitoring the situation closely.
