Mission Viejo Drive-Through Food Pantry Set For Monday, May 4

More than 8,000 pounds of nonperishable food was collected by the City Saturday and will be distributed on Monday, May 4 during our Drive-Through Food Pantry.

Designed to help those in need during the COVID-19, crisis, the Drive-Through Food Pantry is from 9 am to 11 am at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way.

With social-distancing guidelines in place, folks will simply pull up, pop their trunks and a bag of food will be placed in their trunks (while supplies last). Staff will ask participants if they are Mission Viejo residents (for internal information only) and the number of people in their family for distributing the appropriate amount of food. Along with canned food, dried goods, and boxed snacks, some fresh produce will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
