Early voting for the Municipal General Election takes place from 8 am to 8 pm Friday, October 30 through November 2 at six locations in town. On Election Day November 3, Vote Centers are open from 7 am to 8 pm at the following sites:

- Mission Viejo Church of Christ, 26558 Marguerite Parkway
- Mission Viejo City Hall, 200 Civic Center
- Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way
- Orange County Islamic Foundation (OCIF), 23581 Madero Drive
- Saddleback College, 28000 Marguerite Parkway
- Shepherd of the Hills Church, 26001 Muirlands Blvd.
Vote-by-mail ballots will be mailed by the Registrar of Voters starting the week of October 5. Every voter will receive a vote-by-mail ballot that can be filled out and mailed back, taken to a vote center for in-person voting or delivered to the following ballot drop boxes:
- Florence Joyner Olympiad Park, 22761 Olympiad Road
- Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way
- Pavion Park, 24051 Pavion
City Hall will also host a drive-through ballot drop-off that will be staffed by Registrar of Voter employees from October 30 through Election Day. (Hours TBD)
