Mission Viejo Film Festival- Save the Date.

The festival that showcases aspiring filmmakers will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the McKinney Theater at Saddleback College, 28000

The 2nd annual Mission Viejo Film Festival will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the McKinney Theater at Saddleback College, 28000 Marguerite Pkwy., Mission Viejo from 1 pm to 8 pm.

The festival showcases aspiring filmmakers in four categories: Young Filmmaker: Exploring Mission Viejo, Music Videos, High School and College/Indie. Awards in four categories: Mark Jennings, Mayor’s, City of Hope and People’s Choice.

Not only does the film festival support filmmakers it also creates awareness of pediatric cancer.

Cancer statistics for children are staggering. Cancer is the number one cause of death in children under the age of 15 years old, yet pediatric AIDS receives four times the funding.

Cancer also kills more children than AIDS, asthma, diabetes or cystic fibrosis put together.

Sponsorships are still needed, but donations in any amount are appreciated. We also need gifts for the opportunity drawings.
