MISSION VIEJO, CA—With last year's first ever state football championship under their belt, the Mission Viejo Diablos are ready to take the field tomorrow night to battle Rancho Santa Margarita. And they're going to look amazing doing it, thanks to these new uniforms.
The team released a YouTube video earlier this week, unveiling its new look for the 2016 season. The Mission Viejo Diablos have—count them—28 uniform and helmet combinations.

Not for the team that is led by head coach Bob Johnson, winner of over 300 games in his stint as a head coach.
“This is great for the kids,” Johnson said. “We have really enjoyed our ten year relationship with Under Armour and they have done a great job on these uniforms.”

In a partnership with Under Armour, Mission Viejo receivers coach Garrett Gray worked with Johnson and Under Armour representatives to brainstorm and vision the multiple uniforms into reality.
The Diablos are part of Under Armour’s Undeniable campaign.
“We did this for the kids,” Gray said. “It’s going to give them something special that they can put on their social media. What’s really great is the kids will choose the uniform combination they want to wear each week. The goal is to not re-use a combo.”
Colin Schooler a member of the American Family Insurance Preseason ALL-USA Defense, wore the uniforms for a photo shoot display, complete with fog into a Youtube Video, with 'Dre' soundtrack that resonates, "we started from the bottom, now we're here."
The Diablos team lineup for 2016 includes Schooler, Olijah Griffin (No. 2, WR/DB), Matt McDonald (No. 3, QB), Michael Gazi (No. 4, LB/RB), Christian Lavalle (No. 5, LB/TE), Chris Mitchell (No. 17, DB), Austin Osborne (No. 18, WR),Leo Tamba (No. 28 DL), Cade Covarrubias (No. 31, S), Jack Munch (No. 50, DT), Chuck Redman (No. 51, OG), AJ Knight(No. 53, DL), Kannoah Tanuvasa (No. 55, DL/OG), Cedric Tufaga (No. 72, T) and Jarrett Patterson(No. 78, OL), according to the USAToday High School Sports Report.
