Mission Viejo: Free Composting Workshop Set For Saturday, Oct. 3
Residents can learn how to turn their yard and food waste into organic fertilizer through traditional composting or vermi-composting.

The City and Waste Management are teaming up to host a free composting workshop at 10 am on Saturday, October 3 in the Kershaw Garden at Mission Viejo City Hall.

Residents can learn how to turn their yard and food waste into organic fertilizer through traditional composting or vermi-composting.
Compost and vermi-composting containers will be available for Mission Viejo residents to buy or order with discounted bins provided to folks who register and attend the workshop. Participants must wear a face mask, and chairs will be spaced to adhere with social distancing guidelines.

Registration is limited and required for this free workshop. City Hall is located at 200 Civic Center.
