Mission Viejo: July 4th Street Faire Canceled Amid Coronavirus Concerns, But Fireworks Show Expected To Go On

The 2020 July 4th Street Faire won’t be held in Mission Viejo this summer because of ongoing concerns about the coronavirus and uncertainty over when the state may lift its ban on large events. However, the annual fireworks show is expected to go on.

The Mission Viejo Activities Committee, which hosts the popular event each year, always places the safety of the community as the top priority, and based on the current landscape, holding a street faire which attracts thousands of people would be extremely difficult with physical distancing restrictions.
