MISSION VIEJO, CA — The Mission Viejo Library just received a helping hand from a local community partner for the library's continued work in fulfilling its mission to deliver invaluable learning tools to the community, a city release said.

AvalonBay Communities, Inc., a national equity real estate investment trust that owns the Eaves apartment complexes in Mission Viejo, donated $5,000 to the Mission Viejo Public Library and cultural services this week.

The money will go toward helping the library recover from closures, cut programs and cut library hours brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
