Mission Viejo Lord of the Strings Concert Series Draws Guitar Phenom Brooks Robertson

Mission Viejo, CA--Blues, guitar, and showmanship with Chet Atkins style.

That's what show attendees can expect at the July 23 performance by Brooks Robertson, at the Mission Viejo Civic Center.

"Brooks is a finger-style guitarist who utilizes his superb technical abilities to play bass, rhythm and melody simultaneously and surpass the borders of conventional genres," they said. "He merges hauntingly beautiful compositions, country rhythms and jazzy harmonies with funky licks into his very own art form – sometimes delivered with a punch, sometimes with a smile."

Influences for Brooks' music include Buster B. Jones, Jerry Reed among other famed guitarists.

Tickets are $30 Saturday -- July 23 Brooks Robertson, Sonke Meinen at the Misson Viejo Civic Center

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show will begin at 7 p.m.
