Mission Viejo: Marines And Sailors Drive-Through Donation Collection Event Set For Nov. 14

The donation drive is from 9 to 11 am in the parking lot at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center.

The Mission Viejo Marines and Sailors Adoption Committee will host a drive-through donation collection event benefiting members of the Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division on Saturday, November 14.

The donation drive is from 9 to 11 am in the parking lot at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center.

The committee is collecting items for care packages to send to soldiers oversees and baby supplies to fill baskets for the newest members of the battalion, which is based at Camp Pendleton.

Donating is simple, just place your donations in your trunk, pull up to the donation drop site, remain in your car and pop the trunk. Staff and volunteers will collect the items from your car while maintaining social distancing guidelines. Acceptable donations are listed on this link. Large donations will not be accepted during this collection but can be coordinated by contacting rcs@cityofmissionviejo.org.
