Mission Viejo Mayor to Chair Annual Vocational Visions Enchanted Evening Fundraiser
Mission Viejo-Based Vocational Visions Holds Enchanted Evening Fundraiser
Mission Viejo Mayor Cathy Schlicht will chair Vocational Visions’ 13th annual Enchanted Evening fundraiser on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Irvine Marriot Hotel. The popular fundraiser supports the Mission Viejo-based nonprofit’s eight comprehensive programs that provide employment, adult day programs and community inclusion services to over 500 adults with Intellectual/Developmental and other disabilities.
This year’s theme, An Enchanted Evening with Las Vegas Legends, will feature an elaborate silent auction, dinner, live entertainment with a “Rat Pack” theme and the highlight of each year – an inspiring live performance by Vocational Visions participants.
Schlicht is a 32-year Mission Viejo resident and has served multiple terms as an elected official for the City of Mission Viejo; her term as mayor runs through the end of 2015.
