Mission Viejo Ranks Among 10 Safest Cities Nationally: Safewise

MISSION VIEJO, CA — There are hundreds of thousands of cities across the United States, and Mission Viejo was recently ranked as one of the best cities to raise a family, according to Safewise's 2022 report on the safest cities to raise a family in the U.S.

Mission Viejo ranked at #7 and is one of two California cities that made the report's top ten cut, with San Ramon placing at #10. According to Safewise, Mission Viejo has improved by eight rankings since its 2020 report was released.

Safewise also noted that the city's violent crime rate (.75 per 1,000 people) was the tenth lowest among all cities analyzed for this year's report.
