The Mission Viejo Rotary Club Will Host a Charity Texas Hold'em Tournament on June 11, 2016

Mission Viejo Rotary Club Sponsors Community Wide Fundraiser at the Norman P. Murray Center

The Mission Viejo Rotary Club will provide an opportunity for community charities to profit without the expense and burdens of the usual fundraising methods. In pursuit of this objective, the Mission Viejo Rotary Club is sponsoring a “Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament.” The event will be held on June 11, 2016 at the Norman P. Murray Center in Mission Viejo from 5:00 – 11:00 PM.

To participate please contact Greg Raths at greg0912@aol.com. Players can register at www.mvtexasholdem.com. The cost to register is $60 for players and $30 for non players.

Cost to sponsoring charities is NOTHING. Players must register and identify their charity. Cost to the players is $60.00 for the initial buy in ($1,000 in chips) and $20 thereafter ($500 in chips and 1 raffle ticket). $50 of the initial buy in gets paid back to their charity.

Charities must provide a minimum of one silent auction item ($150 in value) and register at least 4 people as players or non players. Additional items may be put up for auction. The named charity receives the proceeds from the sale of their items and as previously mentioned $50 for each player participant. Participants must be 21 years of age to play.

The evening includes several rounds of poker games, a dinner buffet, raffles and sale of silent auction items. Everyone who makes it to the final game receives a prize and the ultimate winner receives a Grand Prize of $500.00. Non-players pay $30.00 to watch the games enjoy a buffet dinner, bid on silent auction items and enjoy nightclub style entertainment.
