Traditionally held on the first Tuesday in August, National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.

This year’s theme – “Shine a Light Against Crime” – will begin with residents asked to turn on their porch lights in recognition and celebration of National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4. Along with shining a light against crime, a series of messages and videos will be posted beginning July 30 and then every Tuesday through the month of August on Police Services’ Facebook @OCSD-Mission Viejo Police Services and Instagram at @ocsdmissionviejo.
