Mission Viejo's Pet of the Week: You'd Be Lucky to Have Lucky

Lucky is a fun-loving and energetic 2-year-old border collie. True to her breed, she is extremely smart

and would excel in an environment where she can exercise her body and mind.

An active family into running, hiking and adventures would be the perfect match for Lucky. She would

also do great with agility classes, fly ball or disc competitions. Border collies were bred to herd sheep,

and Lucky certainly retains this instinct. Because of this, she tends to nip at heels, so she might not do

well in a home with cats or small children. Other dogs would need to tolerate her herding instinct.

Lucky is friendly, good-natured and likes everyone she meets. This sweet dog is current on her vaccines,

spayed and micro-chipped, so she is ready to go home once she’s lucky enough to find her perfect

family.
