Motorcyclist ID'd As South OC Resident In Fatal Irvine Crash

The 23-year-old motorist was identified as a resident of Aliso Viejo, according to authorities.

IRVINE, CA — Authorities identified a 23-year-old motorcyclist who was killed in a crash with a truck in Irvine this week, the Orange County Sheriff's Department said.

The crash was reported at around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bake Parkway and Irvine Center Drive. According to authorities, the man was riding a Yamaha motorcycle that collided with a GMX Canyon crew cab truck.

The man was identified as Andres Osegueda, 23, of Aliso Viejo. He was pronounced dead after being taken to a local hospital.

The truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, authorities said. Their name was not released.

Drugs or alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the crash, police said in a statement.
