Multi-Car Collision Delays Mission Viejo Traffic

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A multi-vehicle traffic collision snarled Monday evening traffic at Marguerite and Crown Valley Parkways.

According to reports, the collision occurred when a vehicle made an illegal turn, striking two others in the northbound lanes of Marguerite Parkway at the intersection of Crown Valley Parkway.

The roadway was open by 7 p.m. after clearing lanes blocked due to debris.

Orange County Fire Authority responded to the scene where two adults were injured. Both were taken to a nearby hospital, as was a child, as a "precautionary measure," according to Orange County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Dennis Breckner.
