Mission Viejo High School Drama opens it’s 2015-16 theater season with a battle of the sexes producing both the male and female versions of The Odd Couple, September 24-26. Written by Neil Simon, the Tony Award-winning play, The Odd Couple, premiered on Broadway in1965. Twenty years later, in 1985, Neil Simon revised The Odd Couple for a female cast. Both of the plays are directed by alumni Lisa Goins and produced by Kathy Harris with technical direction by Matthew White.
