New businesses continue to open during this challenging time of COVID-19. Here is a summary of latest business news.

The Curry Kitchen opened for business on Sunday, December 6 in the former Pizza Hut spot at 25098 Marguerite Pkwy, Suite C near Ralphs. The eatery, which specializes in Indian fare, is offering takeout and delivery.

According to its website, Plumeria Cake Studio is taking limited orders while it prepares to open its new store at 26137 La Paz Rd., Suite A2. The establishment specializes in all things cakes including wedding cakes.

Taqueros Mexican Restaurant opened about a week ago at 28251 Marguerite Parkway, Suite G. The restaurant, also located in San Juan Capistrano, serves up authentic Mexican cuisine.

In other business news, the owner of new Raising Plants OC told City staff she hopes that folks working from home during this time will purchase plants to freshen up their new work spaces.
