New Series Designed to Help Teens Better Manage Stress, Anxiety
Teens can learn how to address social issues through new Aliso Viejo series

To help teens in our community thrive, our City is rolling out a new Teen Series designed to help teenagers better address today's social issues.
First up on September 9 is the free "Healthy Ways to Manage Stress and Anxiety for Teens" program from 4-5:30 pm at Aliso Viejo City Hall. The program will cover pressure from school to technology; how the teenage brain works; the effects of stress; and helpful tips and tools for creating a personal stress plan. Teens will leave with strategies for dealing with their emotions in times of stress and more.
Then on September 13, the new four-part "Gritty Girl Teen Series" begins from 3:30-4:45 pm to help teens ages 13-17 develop their inner strength and build self-confidence, leadership and life skills. Each workshop incorporates interactive learning, group discussions and inspirational takeaways. Cost is $175.
