OC Triathlon Road Closures In Mission Viejo: What To Know
City street closures around Lake Mission Viejo will be in place throughout the triathlon, officials said.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — The Orange County Triathlon is returning to Lake Mission Viejo in full force Sunday, and several streets surrounding the area will be closed through the event, Mission Viejo city officials said in a statement.
The Olympic-distance OC Triathlon takes hundreds of athletes through Mission Viejo neighborhoods and surrounding community, and includes a 1.5K swim in Lake Mission Viejo.
After the swim, athletes ride along the 49K bike course through Santiago Canyon, with part of the race crossing the 1984 Olympic finish line near the lake.

Mission Viejo residents should be aware of the following road closures this Sunday:
- Marguerite Parkway, Vista del Lago to La Barca 5:30 a.m. - 11 a.m.
- Olympiad Road, Melinda to Marguerite 5:30 a.m. - noon
- Marguerite Parkway, La Barca to El Toro 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
- Los Alisos Blvd, Novena to Entidad 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
