The event begins at 7:30 am at 24932 Veterans Way.
Because of expected rain, some changes have been made to the fundraising event. For safety, the 5K will begin in the parking lot next to the Norman P. Murray Center rather than on the field. All running and walking will be on pavement. The National Anthem and short welcome will begin at 8:15 am inside the community center, with the race following at 8:30 am in the parking lot.

Kids will enjoy an adjusted route around the Norman P. Murray Center for the Kid’s Run. Warm-up begins at 9:15 am, and the race starts at 9:30 am. If your child is unable to attend the event, medals will still be available for pickup for a week after at the Norman P. Murray Center.
T-shirt and bib pickup take place between 4-8 pm on Thursday, February 23 at the Norman P. Murray Center.
The Community Health Fair will now take place inside the Norman P. Murray Center. You will have access to more than 70 health and wellness organizations displaying their healthy programs and products and offering giveaways and handouts. A wide variety of health screenings will be available including blood pressure, glucose, pulmonary function (lung function), EKG (heart rhythm), grip strength, body mass index, and much more. The Community Health Fair is free to attend regardless of one’s participation in the Oso Fit races.
Parking will be limited at the Norman P. Murray Center, so please allow for plenty of time to park. Limited handicap parking will be located in the community center parking lot near the event. Street parking on Veterans Way and at Newhart Intermediate School will be available. Shuttle services will also be available at Newhart Intermediate School to help get participants to the event swiftly.
Inside the center, you’ll also find free hot coffee provided by Starbucks. Thank you to our local businesses for donating healthy snacks for our 5K, Kid’s Run and event volunteers - Trader Joe’s, Bagels & Brew, Pavilions and Crown Valley International Market.
