Oso Fit 5K Gears Up In Mission Viejo
Residents who attend the free event will enjoy free health resources and screenings, officials said.
MISSION VIEJO, CA — The City of Mission Viejo and the Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce will host the Oso Fit 5K and Community Health Fair later this month, offering free health resources and screenings to the community.
Held in conjunction with the Oso Fit 5K Fun Run, the Community Health Fair will feature more than 60 health and wellness organizations providing giveaways, information and services. Screenings will include pulmonary function testing, mental health assessments, skincare consultations, massage and assisted stretching, post-run stretching and physical therapy evaluations.
The fair is free and open to the public, regardless of race participation. The event is supported by several sponsors, including premiere sponsor Providence Mission Hospital.

The event begins at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at the Norman P. Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way. More information is available at OsoFit5K.org.
