The video covers some of Mission Viejo’s major accomplishments over this past year. Those include a $1.5-million operating surplus; the renovation of Pavion Park to a universally accessible playground for children of all needs; the locker room/restroom renovation and expansion at Montanoso Recreation Center; business and commercial improvements; 20th anniversary celebration of the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center; and the prestigious Wheelchair Tennis Masters. The video showcases different segments of this special city and demonstrates how Mission Viejo continues to be a Community of Character.
Kelley talks about leading the charge for the character program many years ago and the difference it has made in this community. She also thanked residents for re-electing her three times and her colleagues for their service to the community.
