Photos: Cupcake Store Celebrates First Year

The in Mission Viejo celebrated its one-year anniversary Saturday, with free tastes of their cupcakes to all guests.

People were drawn to the store for all kinds of reasons.

"We decided to come down here because the local businesses around here recommended to stop by," Randy Messier of Mission Viejo said.

Many guests tried the different cupcakes, the most popular being Red Velvet.

They make the red velvet cupcake by stuffing cake with cream cheese filling, frosting it in buttercream and topping everything with a single rose for design.

Aside from cupcakes, the store also creates custom cakes for events like weddings, birthday partys, and corporate events.
