Police Activity At Laguna Hills HS: Assault Suspect Arrested

LAGUNA HILLS, CA — Police activity at Laguna Hills High School ended with a suspect being arrested near the school's athletic fields after an assault was reported to authorities, the Orange County Sheriff's Department reported Tuesday afternoon.

The campus was not placed on lockdown during the incident, according to a spokesperson at Laguna Hills High School.

There was no danger to students or to the public, according to an OCSD spokesperson. A police presence remains at Laguna Hills High School while authorities investigate the incident, OCSD Spokesperson Sgt. Todd Hylton told Patch.
