RANCHO MISSION VIEJO, CA — Seniors living at the Orchards Health Center in Rancho Mission Viejo rallied together by donning blue and yellow Tuesday to show solidarity with the people of Ukraine, who face an uncertain future amid a Russian invasion.

On Tuesday, roughly 30 people at The Orchards Health Center devoted their morning to assembling aid kits to be delivered to Ukrainian residents.

Senior residents also crafted an oversized greeting card and filled the inside of the card with messages of hope.

"At any age, you can be invested, do good and live a bountiful life," A spokesperson with the Orchards Health Center told Patch. "Everybody matters and our seniors care for their community and beyond."
