Relay for Life of Mission Viejo Serves Up Tennis Tournament.

Tennis for a Great Cause.

If you love tennis and you want to be part a worthy cause, Rally for Life is for you. It is the perfect time to enjoy the spring weather and to support a great cause in our community. The event will benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Mission Viejo.

Relay for Life of Mission Viejo is hosting its Rally for Life Tennis Tournament on Sun., March 1, 2015 at 9 am at the Tennis Pavilion at the Marguerite Recreation Center, 27474 Casta del Sol, MV, 92691.

Participants will compete in a round-robin doubles style tournament that will include lunch, silent auction and games. All players will receive a gift and the top two winners will win more than $1,000 in prizes.

Registration fees are tax deductible. For one person the fee is $35 and for doubles team it is $60, novice to experienced players is welcome to participate. Registration forms are available at Sierra and Montanoso Recreation centers, Felipe and Marguerite Tennis Centers. Deadline to register is February 24. In case of rain, the reschedule date is March 29.

If you don’t have a doubles partner don’t worry, the tournament committee can find you a partner.

Relay for Life promotes cancer awareness throughout the year and holds numerous fundraisers. Look for Zumba on Feb. 21, Second Time Around Jewelry Sale, Survivor 80s Dinner/Dance May 21, 2015 and much more.
