ORANGE COUNTY, CA — Outspoken congresswoman Katie Porter who worked diligently to ensure all Americans would receive free coronavirus testing is herself awaiting test results for the illness, she said over Facebook on Wednesday.

Symptoms of a cold, fatigue and a fever of over 100.4 led her to self-isolate at home, she says.

"I carefully followed all instructions to visit my doctor, and received a test for COVID-19," she wrote on Facebook.
