The City of Mission Viejo will recognize American Heroes on Memorial Day, Mon., May 26, 2014 at 8:30 am at the Mission Viejo Civic Center, 200 Civic Center Dr., MV 92691.
The U.S. Marine Corps Headquarters Battalion First Marine Division will provide the Color Guard, rifle salute and buglers. In addition, Colonel Joseph Russell and Retired, Master Sergeant Tom Spry, USMC (three-time war Veteran) will be the keynote speakers. Mission Viejo has adopted this Headquarters Battalion First Marine Division.
Musical entertainment will be performed by Dawn Wright, the “famed voice” of the Los Angeles Angels and the Anaheim Ducks.

American Heroes Tribute Banners will be displayed until June 6, 2014 to honor and remember our military heroes who lost their lives fighting for our freedom and our country.
