Scouts Honor, Mother Daughter Troop Memories: PHOTO

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across California to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.

It doesn't matter how old the kids are, they'll always be your babies! and part of the fun of motherhood is watching your children grow up and enjoy the same things that you love. Sometimes, it's sorting through those memorable pictures of years past that take your breath away.

That's what happened to this Mission Viejo mother, Jennifer McGraw, who has shared a photo she loves of her with her daughters, taken in 2014. This picture was taken right before a mother-daughter girl scout event, when they share not only the same shirt and hat, but the same smile.

Four years later, she is loving watching them grow up.

Her daughters are now 9 and 14, and her son, 15 --not to leave anyone out--are her greatest joy, she wrote.

When asked by Patch, Jennifer wrote this special message for her daughters:

"I love how each one has their own personality and passions. I love being their mom and am grateful for them beyond measure.

Love, Mom"
