MISSION VIEJO, CA — Are you a Mission Viejo senior with a little bit a free time on Thursday? Are you interested in gardening-related giveaways?

The City of Mission Viejo is celebrating National Senior Day by hosting a Garden Pop-Up Giveaway at the Norman P. Murray Community & Senior Center, the city said in a statement.

Seniors who stop by will receive a free summer-themed reusable tote bag, and garden goodies to use at home.

Residents looking to participate can stop by the event from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Thursday. The Garden Pop-Up Giveaway will take place at the Norman P. Murray Community & Senior Center's lobby, located at 24932 Veterans Way.
