Small Brush Fire Breaks Out In South OC Near Golf Course Friday
The fire was reported at around 5:45 p.m. Friday evening in Mission Viejo, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Firefighters tackled small brush that fire broke out near a golf course in south Orange County Friday, Aug. 4, the Orange County Fire Authority said.
The fire was reported at around 5:45 p.m. near Avery Parkway and the creek bed adjacent to the Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club, according to authorities.
As of 5:58 p.m., firefighters were making "great progress" on dousing the flames and the fire was estimated to be less than half an acre.
