South OC Family Displaced After Fire Chews Through Home
The fire was reported in a Mission Viejo apartment complex at around 3 p.m. Wednesday.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A fire in South Orange County chewed through an apartment Wednesday, displacing four residents, though further damage was prevented thanks to the Orange County Fire Authority.
The fire was reported in the 22000 block of Via Cereza at 3:07 p.m. Wednesday, according to the OCFA. Upon arriving, firefighters were able to quickly locate the fire — which had started in the attic — before knocking it down and limiting the fire damage to one unit.
According to authorities, the fire displaced two adults and two children.
