Stabbing Suspect ID'd In Amazon Warehouse Attack
Authorities arrested a man employed as a delivery associate on suspicion of stabbing a 48-year-old Amazon employee.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Authorities arrested a man employed as a delivery associate on suspicion of stabbing a 48-year-old Amazon employee, the Orange County Sheriff's Department reported.
Officers were dispatched to the 25000 block of Jeronimo Road regarding a report of a stabbing at the Amazon facility. Upon arriving, the deputies found a female victim and started lifesaving measures.
Additional deputies found the suspect in the parking lot and detained him, and a knife was found at the scene.

The rapid response from Orange County firefighters allowed the victim to be moved to a nearby hospital. According to authorities, the victim suffered multiple stab wounds to her upper torso and was in critical condition as of Wednesday.
Alfaro, a delivery associate, was employed by a delivery service partner that delivers packages on behalf of Amazon. Alfaro's relationship with the victim and his reason for attacking her is under investigation.
