Stabbing At Trabuco Hills High School Leads To Lockdown: OCSD

One student was stabbed by another Friday during a fight at the high school. Emergency officials took one to the hospital. Video is sought.

MISSION VIEJO, CA —A fight between two Orange County boys at Trabuco Hills High School left one student stabbed and another detained, officials say.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Orange County Sheriff's Department spokesperson Sgt. Ryan Anderson. Officers also found the knife, he said.

Mission Viejo Police Services officers arrived at the school around 1:15 p.m. to find a boy had been stabbed on school grounds, Anderson told Patch.

Neither of the teens' names or ages was released.

Saddleback Valley Unified School District has been contacted for a statement on the incident, and this report will be updated when that is received.
