Stolen Motorcycle Found In Mission Viejo, Cops Search For Rider
An extensive search was underway after a bloody motorcycle was found parked off the road, OC Sheriff's deputies said.

MISSION VIEJO, CA — A motorcycle reported stolen in early fall was discovered Monday, Dec. 3 in Mission Viejo, Orange County Sheriff's Department said. Investigating officers discovered blood both on the bike, and the path, leading officers to conduct an intensive search of the area using bloodhounds, K9 units and air support to search for the possibly injured rider.
The bike was found on the walkway just north of the Norman P. Murray Center around 9 a.m.
"Deputies that arrived on scene found blood on the motorcycle, and the ground, that appeared to be from the rider," the Mission Viejo Police Services spokesperson reported over Instagram.

Witnesses who may have seen the collision, or anyone otherwise injured, were asked to call dispatch at 949-770-6011.
"We do not believe there is a threat to our community from the missing rider," they said.
