Surfing Brings Mom & Daughter Together In Mission Viejo: PHOTO

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Whether it's through their personality, looks, hobbies or a combination of everything, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across California to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.

It doesn't matter how old the kids are, they'll always be your babies! and part of the fun of motherhood is watching your children grow up and enjoy the same things that you love.

In Mission Viejo mother Kassy Najm (l.) and her daughter Madelyn (r.), enjoy the same hobby. These two lovely ladies surf the Orange County coastline together. The pair was caught on camera, here, just in from enjoying the waves.

When asked by Patch, Kassy wrote this special message for her daughter:
