Tennis Tournament Has Been Rescheduled

Play tennis to support cancer fundraiser.

The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Mission Viejo is hosting its 7th Rally for Life Tennis Tournament. Due to the expected rain, the tournament on March 1, 2015 has been rescheduled for Sun., March 29, 2015 at 9 am at the Tennis Pavilion at the Marguerite Recreation Center, 27474 Casta del Sol, MV, 92691.

Rally For Life isn’t just about a game, set or match--it is about creating experiences in our community and raising awareness about cancer.

If you want to play tennis, spaces are still available.

Participants will compete in a round-robin doubles style tournament that will include lunch, silent auction and games. All players will receive a gift and the top two winners will win more than $1,000 in prizes.

Registration fees are tax deductible. For one person the fee is $35 and for doubles team it is $60, novice to experienced players is welcome to participate.

If you don’t have a doubles partner don’t worry, the tournament committee can find you a partner. For more information, please call the Marguerite Tennis Center at 949-859-4348.

Relay For Life raises money throughout the year for research, education, services and advocacy. Look for Zumba on March 14, donate for the Jewelry Sale in May and the 80s Dinner/Dance on May 21, 2015.
