Tennis Tournament Needs Players

The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Mission Viejo is hosting its 8th Rally for Life Tennis Tournament. The tournament is on Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 9 am to 4 pm at the Tennis Pavilion at the Marguerite Recreation Center, 27474 Casta del Sol, MV, 92691.

Rally For Life isn’t just about a game, set or match--it is about creating experiences in our community and raising awareness about cancer.

Participants will compete in a round-robin doubles style tournament that will include lunch, silent auction and games. All players will receive a gift and the top two winners will win more than $1,000 in prizes.

Registration fees are tax deductible. For one person the fee is $40 and for doubles team it is $75; novices to experienced players are welcome to participate. Throughout the day everyone can enjoy a complimentary lunch, beverages and snacks.

We still have spaces available. If you don’t have a doubles partner don’t worry, the tournament committee can find you a partner. For more information, please call the Marguerite Tennis Center at 949-859-4348.

Relay For Life raises money throughout the year for research, education, services and advocacy. Look for Zumba on May 14, Survivor Dinner on May 18, Teen Scene/ Dodgeball/Volleyball on May 20.
